Civic
The latin root is the word civicas - of a city,
the repository of our knowledge and the embodiment of
our aspirations. The work is under the purview of not
only the client and users, but of the whole community.
This knowledge is best carried foremost in the mind of
the designer as the word "service" takes on a new
level of meaning.
